Colchester Rovers Off-Road Coaching

Further to my previous emails I am picking up the Saturday morning coaching sessions again and if there is sufficient interest I plan to organise Coaching on three or four Saturday Mornings.

I intend to organise two one hour sessions as follows:

10am to 11am (Please arrive by 9.50 to register for a prompt 10am start) – under 12’s and novice riders.

11 to 12noon (please arrive by 10.50) – 12’s and over – to include one or two who rider regularly and have more experience.

As previously advised we will meet at the Sussex Road entrance to Hilly Fields.

Riders will need:

  • suitable clothing (if wearing trousers can these be tucked into socks),
  • a bike (MTB/cyclo-cross or other capable of being ridden off-road);
  • a crash hat;
  • a drink

I would also like to ask for the nominal £1 from each rider as we do with the summer grass track grass track sessions.

New Riders will need to complete a parent consent form – please ask.

Please email: david@dtriggs.wanadoo.co.uk for further details.

For those riders that would like to get into more competitive off-road riding give the cyclo-cross web site a look
