Code of Conduct
Please abide by it at all times.
- You are encouraged to wear a cycle helmet
- Maintain control of your speed at all times, use caution on blind bends and anticipate other road users.
- Riders are expected to ride behind the Ride Leader unless instructed to do otherwise.
- Slow down and always give way to horses and walkers and be prepared to halt when approaching horses.
- Cycle safely – do not ride in such a way as to cause an obstruction/danger to other road users.
- Winter riding - think about the rider behind you and fit mudguards to your cycle
- Respect public and private property.
- Do not get annoyed with anyone; it never solves any problems.
- Always try to be self-sufficient, for you and your bike. Carry adequate equipment, food and clothing to cover the unexpected and cash for the Tea stop.
- Riders are encouraged to wear club colours
- Remember – others will judge all cyclists by your actions.
